I was wondering if this would ever get released. Netflix for the save!
I wonder if they could also pick up Anthen of the Heart and Her Blue Sky. I think those are the only big Okada films that have never been officially released stateside.

Anthem of the Heart has never gone to streaming, but it was screened in theaters and released on Blu-ray (at Aniplex USA prices, of course) at least. Her Blue Sky is the big missing piece, for whatever reason.

Unfortunately, yes. I saw the movie in Sapporo last month and there were hardly any people in the cinema. I wish more people saw it because it's a hidden gem and the ending song by Miyuki Nakajima is hauntingly beautiful. I also wish the movie came out on the big screen first instead of being released directly on a streaming service.
