I never thought I'd see the day the movies would get dubbed...

I was thinking the exact same thing, it's a surprise. Now I just wonder if the entire cast will return, I assume they will but you never know.

I think aside from the ones who retired or got canceled, they'll probably all return. I can't think of a main cast member who might not.

Whoaaaa when I saw a billboard of the poster in Japan I thought it was a new movie and thought it was interesting the GL franchise was still alive. Now it’s even MORE shocking to find out not only are the movies over 10 years old but that they’ll be shown in America! Stranger things have happened lol but sadly I won’t be in America to support the showing Crying or Very sad

Don't care. Had to FORCE myself to watch this, and I still didn't what the story was about.

Given that this is a Fathom Event, which is usually streamed via a 1080p satellite feed, will these truly be 4k screenings, or will they be a DCP, truly encoded in 4k? I'm gonna go either way, but I'd like to see if this is truly reflective of a new 4k transfer or not...

Why are you forcing yourself to watch anything? Like, if you don't want to watch something, just don't watch it.

I wonder why they are dubbing it now, instead of when they originally relicensed it. Either way, it's still good news. I do hope most people can return. That said, i paid a ton for the series already, I'm not going to pay again just for a dub for the abridged movies.

I didn't find the first movie all that interesting, it only had a couple of new redone scenes that stood out. Mainly the fight against Adiane. The second movie on the other, that has a load of great redrawn scenes.

Another case of an anniversary push on Japan's end, no different from when TMS paid to have a dub made for Lupin III Part 1 two years ago as part of it's 50th Anniversary.

The big question is will they get Nia's original dub VA (Starfire) or Bridget Hoffman?
