Too bad you cant get the earlier seasons uncut on DVD - the first three seasons were great - I didn't watch it after that.

Can you even get them on DVD at all? I'd even take the edited dub--I grew up on that, it's what got me into anime in the first place. Anime hyper;

Yay! I've been waiting for this!

I hope it gets enough viewers to maybe encourage a DVD release. And subsequently DVD releases of the other seasons and movies. The first thirteen episodes (dubbed/edited of course) of the first series and the three first movies combined into one are the only things that have ever been released on DVD outside of Japan.

It may be hard though with all of the licensing problems...

You can get (if I remember correctly) some of the 1st season on dvd- but I don't think they're are much more after that outside of the movies. And thats the editted english version.

I really want the japanese version though.

Hmm, I thought things got better later in the season, and the movie was cut up pretty bad, so...I dunno if I'll get those on DVD.

But I suppose I can always hope that enough interest in the series will be generated for a full release. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Actually the last new English EPISODE to be broadcast in the US was in July 2003. 2005 was the year that they finally dubbed the remaining movies & aired those on Toon Disney. Just a small nitpick. ^^;;

Yea I wish I could find the first 3 on DVD and bootlegs on Ebay just won't do. I really really liked seasons 1 & 3. Would love to buy them but sadly unlike its Pokemon counterpart us Digimon fans are left in the dust... At least we get the games translated and distributed here in the States.

/me waves new coy of Digimon World Dusk for Nintendo DS
