In other words they're saying they've learned nothing from Tay (I'd link to wikipedia but phpBB breaks on links with parentheses). |

I was thinking to myself that eventually all human-avatar vtubers would be replaced by AIs, but I didn't think it would start to happen this quick. Soon all creation will be outsourced to AI, and there will be nothing left to do but consume, and even consumption will become pointless as there will be no human art or content left to experience.

All they need is crypto/NFT and they'd have the maligned tech trifecta of 2022.

Video games have been using AI since forever, though? |

I was using AI to mean machine learning. Not AI as in video game AI. Video game AI, especially during early years of gaming is just "monster walks left until it reaches a vertice of a platform, then turns around", that's fundamentally different from plugging machine learning algorithms with terabytes of human created art, and then having it churn out input based on that art using programs which imitate neural networks. Or in this case have AI algorithms imitate whole human beings. The fact people can't see what's wrong with AI art and content is kind of tragic. |
