Not to impressed with the staff, but I was waiting for this adaptation for so damn long. First arc should fit just fine in the 1-cour anime.

Certain people: "Japan doesn't care about gender politics!"
I'm in Love with the Villainess: "Allow me to introduce myself."

Anyway, I've read all 5 volumes of the novel and I'm looking forward to it.

My condolences to fans of this series. Even the key visual looks bad.

I read 2 volumes and have 3rd purchased (plan to get all of them in e-book format a bit later).

And it is really interesting that this apparently comedic isekai touched the topics of how gay and trans people are percieved by Japanese society.

So raging yuri fangirl forces her love on another girl and turns her lesbian/bi too? Yeah, right, sounds sooo romantic Very Happy

Still, Claire's reactions will probably be great for a few laughs,
but I guess I sould not expect a competent story (OtomeFlag and the recent Last Boss were just too dumb to be good)

The visuals looks terrible. Is making key visuals really that hard these days? Not to mention, it seems like this is being made by the team who made Love of Kill and Dr. Ramune, both below-average shows. Confused

Well atleast the VA are very good.
If they do not change the script in the anime and be a faithful adaptation then...even it not lives up to the original, atleast it will be a good watch, its the plot here that matters the most after all.

I'm fine with visuals. They are just average. I did not hope for something high-budget either way. If they do not change the crucial plot points/characters, it should be fine. Though, this series has some action, it is not the main part of it.

Volume 2 touched the topic.

Or do you mean trans people are percieved better than gay one in Japan?

I meant the story itself.

spoiler[Without delving into the details to much, in vol. 2 we find out that one of the characters is literarly female forced into the male body with magic. MC puts the parallels with her high school/college friend who was a trans male and commited suicide because their family forced them to play a woman.]

I don't mind if the anime's quality is so-so so long as they stay faithful to the LN , it sure took its time but it's finally coming .

Not surprising to me since the official anime website was registered months ago.

Anyway, glad to see this series animated and hope it stays true to the novels and manga since it's not just a Isekai story of a girl simping for the villainess.
