Has there ever been a good pregnant man story?

This is not a "pregnant man story" though, at least the manga is not one of those "lol dude is pregnant hahaha" stories, it's not even a comedy. It's more about traditional gender roles, traditional attitudes to pregnancy, and showing how something that is "natural" when it happens to women due to their pregnancy is not actually "natural" at all by basically mirroring them on men. One of the main storylines is about a male idol (secretly in a relationship with a female idol) who accidentally gets pregnant and has to navigate the consequences thereof. Other stories are about men getting discriminated at work or having to rethink their careers, overweight men being thought of as pregnant, men noticing how shitty it is when people don't give up their seats to you on public transport, facing the possibility of their partner leaving them... etc.
That being said, I've no faith in live action adaptation staying true to the original's spirit...

So…Junior?
That was all about mirroring pregnancy on a guy and trying to be serious about it, but I think most people who watched that movie just wished they saw Twins instead.

This seems to be a persistent problem for live action adaptations of Japanese manga, anime, and games (could perhaps be extended to a variety of other things, but it seems particularly common for these sorts of adaptations).

No. As strange as it may be to some, there are stories in the world that can't be equated to Hollywood productions with vaguely similar premises.
