This shouldn't come as a surprise given the popularity of the first season. It's still nice to get a confirmation. The big question is when the second season will air. Hopefully early next year.

I find the school arc really boring though...

And that is what season 2 is going to animate isn't it?

Wonder who will replace Uchiyama as the actress claimed her work was finished.

No, not if they don't rush it. Probably season 3.

Can I make a guess you're making that comment based on the manga? The main manga jumps directly from this point to the beginning of the school arc, however the spinoff manga that just recently started is covering the 'depression' arc that's covering the missing volumes.

Biggest non surprise of the season confirmed lol. Generally, people view the upcoming content as boring, but I for one am excited. I'm interested in seeing if they increase the amount of POV chapters that get animated. They get much more important as the LN goes on, but they avoided animating them in the first season.

What are you talking about? The "depression" arc you're saying is only 1 LN volume and after that the school arc starts so it's definitely gonna be in season 2.

Wouldn't the 2nd part that already aired technically be a second season even though I know a commonly-preferred used term is "cour"?

If they could cut off completely some important parts from novel in season 1 (spoiler[the part where Rudy met his aunt]), then there's no reason they are not gonna do the same to that. Not to mention that "depression arc" contribute next to nothing to the future plot. Web novel version does not even have that "arc" either.

Best of the best. As to be expected. The light novels have been phenomenal.
