I've switched to playing FF14 with my sister on weekend mornings now (we're on Eastern time, luckily), instead of weekend nights, but it is just a touch annoying that I can't do any daily stuff anymore. ^^; That said, we basically stroll through the story at a snail's pace, so I don't mind that we can't speed through Endwalker like other folks who are chomping at the bit for it.
Hope the worst is past, Heidi! |

A correction: A Realm Reborn launched in 2013 and was well-received. The disastrous launch of 1.0 was in 2010

Excited! Selfish as it may seem, having a team properly dedicated to the game seems like the right way to go, and that “speculation” that other failed DW projects were taking resources away from FGO due to poor management is likely true. All of us playing JP were feeling the effects of content drought back in 2020 and even in 2021. Covid obviously didn’t help but even so. They’ve been back on track lately though which is great to see, here’s hoping good times to come! Oh also almost right after you posted this article! https://twitter.com/dnfduel/status/1471797331003539461?s=21 Rollback confirmed, and so many mechanics shown off in the HP and MP trailers! |

Small correction, the ill-fated FFXIV version was released in 2010 sept 30, not 2013. 2013 saw the release of FFXIV ARR which was critically acclaimed all around, I doubt they'd be that surprised given ARR basically came back from the ashes of XIV like a blazing phoenix, it becoming ever more popular in 2021 would be a welcome news from a time traveller, not something to look at in disbelief. Now, if you were to tell that to the 1.0 folks, I bet they'd just throw you into an asylum.

Is Naoki-P also one of Naoki Yoshida's nicknames? Outside of what looks like people on Twitter occasionally using it incorrectly I've only ever seen his nickname as Yoshi-P.
