This article has some misinformation and weird bits

Quote:

Singer LiSA's opening theme song "from the edge" for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime was certified platinum by the Japan Record Association on September 22. "Gurenge" (Red Lotus) has exceeded 300,000 downloads, the first track by a female artist to do so this year. The song's music video is also trending with over five million views. Fans are still watching the video 60,000 to 70,000 times every day after its debut four months ago.

First, "from the edge" by FictionJunction feat. LiSA (which is technically a different artist when it comes to credits) is the ENDING theme. "紅蓮華 (Gurenge)" is the OP and seems to be the only one certified for platinum according to the source. Which makes sense because "from the edge" only came out early September while "Gurenge" has been out since July

Then
Quote:
LiSA returned to the series to sing its new ending song "from the edge" with composer Yuki Kajiura.
She didn't "return" - nor was it a "new" ending song - it's been the shows only ending song from the start.
