Right alongside Onepunch-Man Season 2 no less. Not to sound paranoid or anything, but maybe perhaps due to the lackluster reception of OPM2, they're premiering Demon Slayer right alongside it to maintain viewership?

Damn this is the first anime made by Ufotable to premiere on Toonami.

I've heard a lot of good things about this series, but hadn't looked into any of it. I look forward to watching this - as well as OPM S2 - when it starts airing! October's looking like a really fun month for new and continuing series!

That’s not it at all. It’s because before October 12th, Super, gen:LOCK, and Gundam all end, creating three open slots on the 12th

Anyone know where I can find the cast? I'm excited to finally give it a watch, but curious.

I don't believe it's been announced yet. The series will most likely get a Bang Zoom! dub, so I'd expect some cross-over with franchises like SAO.

Those who haven't seen the series yet are in for a treat. While it has weak points (mostly related to its nature as a shonen action series), when it hits it can be quite spectacular, and it's easily one of the best-looking of all shonen action series even in day-to-day animation.

Cool. I had my fingers crossed that this would happen soon since Promised Neverland at least indicated that Aniplex was interested in producing relatively quick dubs to get shows on TV. On Toonami's end, they seem pretty interested in that as well, which I have to think helps them with one of the chief criticisms of the block, which is that some of what they air is already considered old news by the time they get it.

Thanks, I'll have to keep an ear open.
