Its looks great 7 out of 10 with nothing but music playing for the sound bit. Series seems to be alittle darker...maybe thats just me.
Maybe this will lead to another gundam SEED/DESTINY related series.

Low down for Gundam Stargazer:

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer is a side story to the anime TV series, Gundam SEED Destiny. It is being released starting in July 2006 as an Original Net Animation. The show will be directed by Susumu Nishizawa and written by Shigeru Morita, both staff members of Gundam SEED Destiny.

Stargazer will star Sven Cal Bayan, a 19-year old male Natural who is a member of the Phantom Pain special forces and pilots the GAT-X105E Strike Noir. It also features Selene McGriff, a 28-year old female Coordinator and a researcher of the "Stargazer Project" for the Deep Space Survey and Development Organization (DSSD).

The series will be three episodes, each running at 15-minutes long. The web broadcast is slated to begin in July, 2006, with a new episode showing monthly. A preview DVD will be provided with the first production run of the HG Strike Noir model kit. Also it was revealed that a DVD containing all three episodes will be released on November 24.

Opening:
Stargazer ~Hoshi No Tobira~ (Door Of The Stars) by Satori Negishi

Stargazer's got the sort of premise that, were it presented in a 13-26 episode TV series, could've turned out really nicely. But compressed into a sum total 45 minutes? All it's going to end up being with that little time is just more inane, flashy dreck from a franchise that's quickly losing face with both seasoned Gundam fans and the newcomers it's aimed at by precisely being inane, flashy dreck.

The SEED franchise needs something substantial that doesn't have the name "Astray" tacked onto it. If they keep doing this "flare first, story later" approach like they threw at us with Destiny, it's only going to lead to the premature ruin of yet another Alternate Universe Gundam.

Agreed, after what I read about the staff issues while SEED was being developed with story drafts being turned in late just overall unprofessional behavior added into the fact that (Destiny) and what I've read of Astray seems rushed and put together just for the sake of having something to continue the series.

Add in also that they keep releasing "Movies" which are nothing more than lame attempts to full in missing holes and try to improve upon vague story telling. **cough cough**(Gundam SEED Destiny movie told from the point of view of Athrun Zala: 90 min movie)
