How could you not include Soma's squid with peanut butter? It brings nightmares to whoever eats it and causes negative food porn!

My God, that "food" in Moyashimon was ... a bit much for my taste. I still don't like to think about it too much. Those birds ...

I'd add on the time Misty cooked in the episode of Pokemon: Sick Daze. She mostly just threw salt and sugar into a boiling pot and it somehow turned purple.

And a note on the poll: Momiji Soma is not an orphan. Both of his parents are still alive, despite the strange circumstances.

When I saw this list, I looked for "more" in the title, and not finding it said to myself, "Okay, this should have Sanae's bread and Akiko's jam (from Kanon)".

I was half disappointed, especially given the latter was also referenced in Clannad: After Story (see 00:46):

I've got to throw in an honorable mention for the "pukey" soup Sylvette Suede makes in Tegami Bachi. Everyone except her and her brother get sick with one spoonful.

Regarding the poll, I'd definitely adopt Kurapika. Not only is he my favorite Hunter x Hunter character, he'd make for a pretty cool brother and he deserves a family after what he's been through.

Orihime, the buxome sweet girl from "Bleach", has lame cooking skills.

Good! Joseph is the winner in the previous poll. He's my favorite JoJo protagonist too, as when he was the protagonist, he fought some of the strongest enemies in the entire series and had to do it without Stands, instead finding ingenious ways to damage or trick his adversaries. That's my favorite kind of hero to watch.

I can't put my finger on which anime/manga it was and whose cooking it was, but I definitely recall a dish that was apparently so bizarre it switched people's minds when eaten. Oh yes, and if we're going by general series-wide concepts, Yakitake!! Japan was a series entirely about making increasingly weird bread.

The "Dragon cuisine" that Lina Inverse never got to sample, despite their dragon hunt in Slayers Next, is supposedly a rare foodie delicacy...Even, as they find out, if it does take several years to prepare, due to the poison and the size of the dragon.

And while that one Ranma 1/2-themed cafe did actually try to create "Akane's Camp Meal" as a menu item, let us hope they never try to follow suit with Urusei Yatsura's manga anniversary and try to serve Lum's Crunchy Stars.

I'm very happy that Moyashimon was #1, but they should've mentioned also something about surströmming! After all, it's the stinkiest thing they mentioned in the series.

I didn't see Tohru from Fruits Basket in the poll, so I added her.

On that note, I really don't understand how people like Jotaro. I haven't watched Part 4 yet though, maybe he gets better on that one.

I think they should also listed Misty's own terrible food she cocks in one episode when Brock is sick.

Golden Kamuy often depicts Ainu cuisine which may make Asirpa say "Hinna hinna," but might seem less appealing to outsiders.

I have to agree with Moyashimon. I have a mild gag reflex. Moyashimon triggered it in spades!
