w00t. Though I already knew about this from the newsletter and though I already knew about the announcements of the games a while ago, I'm still excited, or at least for Clash of Ninja 2. I never played Ninja Council, but maybe I'll get it someday...

Anyway, I really hope these releases continue so we can get all for GameCube Clash of Ninja games over here. Even though they would be released after Wii is released, Wii is backwards compatible with GameCube, so it would still work.

Ever since I heard that they are at like part 4 in Japan, I think I'll just wait for the releases to go that far. I might pick up these releases... if I see them in the bargain bin for under $10.

Yeah, I'm just waiting for Clash of Ninja 4 too. I mean, the earlier ones are okay from what I hear, but you might as well wait and get the best version for your money. Or, if they decide to stop releasing them, I hope they at least get Clash of Ninja 3 out.

All I have to say is... I'm glad they are allowing four people to play at a time... I've played the first one and it's not bad... it just lacked in characters and as I said, the four player battles...

Ninja Concil 2 isn't that big of a step foward, but I much rather play it then "That's So Raven" anything. I don't know about Clash of Ninja 2, but I hope they they give use more character, well, it's a done deal there, and it's alot more balanced.

A lot of the major issues with the first Naruto GC game were addressed in 2 (adding of guard crush to avoid infinite turtling, more characters, etc). I still love the 4th game the best though...a ton of characters and game modes, the 3v3 tag mode is very fun and 4p battles are still a blast,

I wonder when ANN will announce the gameplay impressions of the One Piece and Dragonball Z Wii game demos at E3.

As previously mentioned, Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 (Clash of the Ninja 4) is already available playable on a US GameCube by using a bootdisk.

Amazing game series, I actually have NGNT3 and it is the most fun I've ever had with a fighting game period -- if you enjoy the manga/anime, then you absolutely can't go wrong with the game. Smile

If you prefer the english voice actors and don't want to pick up the Japanese VA version, I would recommend waiting until at least the 3rd iteration before picking it up since the addition of just about all the characters you really will want to play as -- 4th version really didn't add anyone significant IMHO.
