I was wondering what this was about! I saw the influx of Bowsette on a JPN fanart site I frequent and that was cool but I had no clue what was causing it lol.

I think that this is pretty neat. I wonder what the folks at Nintendo (if they’re seeing this) think about this development.

It's so big that in Japan they're already thinking about doing a Bowsette convention next month.

We're living in the best timeline.

It is amazing how popular the idea of Bowsette has gotten in less than a week. There are at least 30 well known mangaka that have made fanart of Bowsette. It is a pity that Bowsette will most likely not be seen in a Nintendo game since Nintendo is very risk averse to anything that changes the Mario formula.

Koopa Hime debuted on the 19th, and on the 20th Nintendo's stock saw an increase. I think it's pretty funny.

To be fair, it took nearly 2 days before it blew up in Japan after it blew up in the English fandom.

I have been seeing this Bowsette meme since its birth two days ago. I saw the tweet of the guy who started this and he was amazed that it was very popular in Japan and then the rest of the world. I am curious if Nintendo will capitalize on this and make her a canon character. If that happens, I hope she will be somewhat related to Bowser instead of being his genderbent clone. spoiler[I am not a fan of genderbending but I would not mind shipping Bowsette with Peach, Daisy, or Rosanne]

Watched the meme develop from the onset and it was an interesting happening.

I myself am more a fan of the red-head and tan version of Bowsette, but both are great.

Apparently, Booette, who is Boo wearing the Super Crown, is becoming a thing. The Super Crown sure is something.

Yeah, it felt like the gap between "oh, that's a cute cartoon" to "oh my God, has everyone seen this thing?" was much quicker than usual this time around.
