Huh. So DragonBall is not dead after Super?
I'm confused, but I'm glad.
Maybe future DragonBall projects should concentrate on annual theatrical movies.

Maybe they can make a Dragon ball series that focuses on universe 6. They can call it "Dragon Ball 6"

Well, it's not just Super, it's also managing the old series and its rights, working with game/toy companies, etc.
Plus there's the movie coming out and no doubt more movies after that.

Didn't they already announce this years ago? I could have sworn this was announced before.

Dragon Ball Super is confirmed not to be over (Even the new movie is a DB Super movie, not DBZ) and the manga is continuing right into the next arc which means the anime will most likely be back next year as well.

That was a special division at Shueshia, the publisher of the manga and Shonen Jump.

The mainstream fandom made the show what it is. Hate the show all you want but it's a powerhouse.

Hopefully any future animated projects take the form of OVAs, TV specials, or movies, as Dragon Ball Super was hilariously bad; even at its worst, the pre-1998 run of Dragon Ball anime looked better than most of Dragon Ball Super.
