"According to police, Kazuki had been offering the stickers through an Internet auction site at 500 yen per sheet, and supposedly sold two sheets from May to July."
If that is the extent of this criminal enterprise, this is one of the saddest stories ever.

They get someone who pretty much got nothing from his exploits but all you have to do is go search on Ebay and Amazon and you find thousands of bootleg DVDs and figures sold as if they wee actual items.
I know searching for anime on Amazon is horrible,.... so much bootleg merch.

At least this infringer was employed as some other cases involved those that were unemployed.

Japanese economy has been at a standstill since the 1980s
"Suicides" are on the rise.
Abe Shinzo wants a war with Korea.
But let's go arrest a guy who sold 1000 yen worth of stickers.

It's sadder if this's the SAME GUY who's regularly been arrested for selling bootleg Frozen, PreCure and One Piece stickers...
Yes, we know you can make them in the home, but who freakin' buys stickers??

10 bucks of copyright infringement gets ya arrested now, sheesh.
Why not go after the ones peddling thousands of bootleg dakimakura on Yahoo Auctions Japan instead?

Yeah, that seems a little ridiculous. Seriously, the fact that these weren't making him any significant money is practically all the punishment needed.

Wow. Arresting a guy for making bootleg ten dollar "Girls und Panzer" school crest stickers. While copyright infringement is a crime and should be dealt with, this might come across as heavy handed. This guy doesn't exactly strike me as the Japanese version of Al Capone. If I were the judge in this case,I'd give him a few months in jail with a large fine. I think that would be the proper thing to do in this case.

Lol, the guy shouldn't spend a single day in prison. A fine is fine, where he was forced to pay back any money earned with interest for potentially damaging the brand.

Man if this is what happens for selling $10 worth of counterfeit stickers, I'd hate to imagine what'll happen to the guy that sold government land to his mates for $millions less than its value.

"So, what're you in for?"
"I sold two sheets illegal stickers over the internet."

What a monster... how will the people of Japan recover from such a tragedy!? I say skip the sentencing and publicly execute him to make an example.

What about the fictional children that were sold at an auction. Isn't that slavery? When will we think about them?
