Lol, that's kind of like saying, "Oh man, I'd totally buy Siberia if I had the money, and it wasn't so far away."

It's too bad he's selling his car. Hopefully it'll make some Initial D nerd really happy soon.

It is too bad that he is selling his car. I'm sure that he had many a wannabe road racer pull up next to him at lights, rev their engine a few times and try to take him off the line.
I've been there, done that and it does get old after a while.

That said, it would be a pretty cool purchase for an Initial D geek like myself.

hmm i wonder if the person that will buy will use it for daily use or just keep it as a collector. Now only if some one would sell the yellow Rx-7 lol

But upgrades will only affect the price if you're selling to collectors or enthusiasts. The regular dealer, Edmunds and Kelly's Blue Book won't care. Besides he didn't list the mileage or state whether it had AC, etc. which also affects the price.

I have to say I would like to buy that car and park it next to my blue 86 GTS but the pocket book is thin. I would even drive out there with my car hauler but again no money. Guess I will just have to live with one. I wonder why he was talking about snooty GTS owners and also neither of the cars stock, are really that fast lots of other cars would blow that one away off the line but not in the handling department. That is the true stenth of this car it corners on a dime and it was fairly cheap when it came out think of it as a entry level sports car. I love mine and if any one can find one, I would say grab it. I would get 5-6 offers a year for mine befor I parked it and put it in storage. I saw a tubbed bottle fed AE 86 on the drag strip once it did 7.8 sec's in the quarter mile. You should have seen the whale tale it was sporting I could have slept in it! Shocked

Intern? I could have sworn I saw Jerry Chu listed as an executive producer for the US release or some other fairly important positions on Bandai releases. Maybe I'm mistaken.

Jerry was actually Bandai's marketing manager. Maybe he started off as an intern?

Yes. There are lots of things on my to-eventually-to-buy-list that is like that. haha!!

Though I did have an AE86 before, or rather my brother did. Sadly he gave it to my non driving other brother who just dismantled it and forgot where the pieces went. And then he sold it...

Yup, that's about it. He started as an intern, and for some odd reason requests that he be referred to that way. For non-important articles I don't mind doing it for the laugh.
