So I saw this in the theater it was awesome.
But the most amazing thing is: See the apartment building behind Hanekawa? That's MY apartment building. Where I live. (note: minus the flags, anyway). They used my apartment complex for the backgrounds for the entire scene there with her walking in the rain... Freaked me out in the theater. Most of the backgrounds used were from the Odaiba/Ariake area... |

^What's the timestamp for that scene? I didn't actually notice her in front of an apartment building at any point.
Loved the PV, and can hardly wait to see it. Glad that the reception has been good in Japan so far! |

It was in the beginning, and she was just walking in the complex during Araragi and Oshino's talk about "hunger" if I recall. It's here: https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=東雲キャナルコート&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=632&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwinx-CEtPPRAhWIa7wKHdrAAmEQ_AUIBygC The apartment complex consists of 6 different "zones", each one was designed by a different architectural company, linked together with an experimental concept that was supposed to be like a european town or something (but modern concrete?), hence the various large balconies here and there. It was a design competition and one of the UR (Urban Renewal) urban living design experiments about 12 years ago. My section was actually designed by Kengo Kuma, the same designer who is building the Olympic Stadium (well, now that they scrapped the old toilet-bowl design). |

That's a pretty fascinating looking complex. I remember reading briefly about the urban renewal project a few years ago. Very cool!

I saw it last week. Being in Germany and all we had a screening that showed all 3 in one go so I just went for that instead because why not, might as well rewatch the older ones. It was quite nice all together but I can't help but feel that a bunch of people probably didn't know that that means it's going to be 4 hours when they walked into the cinema |

^ It didn't happen in the novel, that I remember, so I'm curious how they will play this in the film. Oishi has my full support though, and Hanekawa is my one true waifu for life, so I'm thrilled with this development.

That's so cool! Where do we draw the line between what's anime and what's real life now? lol That trailer was so hype, I'll never get over how amazing the visuals in these films are, no matter how many times I see them. I'd love to see this in theaters, but judging by Aniplex's very limited release of the last two, I shouldn't hold my breath. Sometimes it really sucks living in rural PA. BTW, I'm calling it, the kiss is all just in his imagination. |

I'll bet good money that it's in Araragi's head, a fantasy he has during the storage shed scene. |

Yeah, that's all I was thinking when I watched the trailer. "What?! They never kissed!!" But I guess Hanekawa fanservice wins out over adherence to source material? And here I thought they couldn't possibly top the absurdly violent vampire fights from the 2nd film, but I see they managed to save all the best they had for last. Amazing. You don't get much of a detailed picture of what's going on in the novel's description of the battles. Whoever's designing the fight choreography (probably a lot of people, with some done in storyboards and some left up to the key animator?) just keeps surprising me with the level of imagination. This is unlike anything I've ever seen, even in anime! |

^Agreed. It's so visceral and well choreographed in the second movie. It's frankly one of the best films I've ever seen. I'm hoping the BD release comes with interviews, or maybe Wave Motion Cannon or someone will translate some more. I'd love to read how this came together and who was pulling the strings. Oishi seems to be the main suspect, I imagine.
That's a good call. I think you're probably right. The fact that they put it in the PV makes that seem even more likely. Gotta troll the fans a little bit. lol (it's all good as far as I'm concerned though. I've got all of the screenshots for proof that I need. ) |

Can someone who watched the movie tell me if they shown Hanekawa actually naked during the boob training scene?
