Whoa! This looks amazing. By far my most anticipated film of 2017

Looks nice, better not turn out to be garbage like the Empire of Corpses and Harmony. I really want this movie to be great.

Empire of Corpses did disappoint me a little (although I admit that my expectations had grown way to high based solely on the trailer), but Harmony was one of my favorite films in quite some time. Having read the English novels for both, I'd say that Genocidal Organ is a lot closer to Harmony than it is to Empire of Corpses. In fact the ad copy on the back of the book would like to convince you they take place in the same universe (I kind of doubt that's true, although you can see how the author carries some themes from one into the other). Basically expect an extremely pessimistic, bordering on sociopathic, protagonist constantly monologuing about how much they hate themselves and the world they exist in. In the case of Harmony that was an Orwellian medical nightmare, and in this case it's a super-surveillance state where the hyper-advanced first world military powers are locked in perpetual proxy war with the pitifully outmatched third world dictatorships. Personally I love that stuff (I'm a big fan of Chuck Palahniuk), but obviously it's not everyone cup 'o tea.

I also loved Harmony. I just don't get why a lot of people didn't seem to like it. I still think is one of the best and most beautiful thought-provoking sci-fi films I have watched in this decade

Looks good, although frame rate is way too low during non-action moments, for a movie.
