Golgo 13 is published in a 2 times a month in a seinen magazine and will take a while to go to 200 volumes. The author had said that is coming to end at 200 volumes animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-02-06/golgo-13-assassin-manga-heads-towards-conclusion/.84162 |

The thing is Takao Saito is like 80.. So while I don't doubt he's got lots of arcs to 'extend' Golgo up to volume 200 (It's currently in 180 IIRC), that won't happen until around 2020 at the very least, so it's kinda a race against time, you could say.

Hmm, Guinness now has entries specifically for manga? That's interesting, considering much of the American public doesn't know what "manga" is. Between this and One Piece getting the honor of top-selling comics series with a single author, I'm guessing there is a manga fan in the Guinness Book of World Records crew.

Looks like the long-running manga titles are ending one by one.
