The fact that it's puppets and the word "Thunder" is in the title may lead some to think that it's related to Gerry Anderson's THUNDERBIRDS.I know it sounds odd,but it could happen.

If i remember correctly, was'nt Thunderforce based on a once popular videogame shooter back in the days of the SEGA genesis?

The person who gave Pili its original English title ('Thunderforce') might have no idea about the game. That's probably why they changed the name to "Wulin Warriors: Legend of the Seven Stars." Same thing for Detective Conan / Case Closed.

To learn more about Taiwanese puppet shows, visit its official English page: http://www.pili.com.tw/en/
