I tried to watch the videos on ANN TV, but it says "Sorry due to licensing, this video can not be shown in Germany." Is there a way around this? I am a US Citizen, but I happen to be in Germany because the government sent me here to work. I'd like to watch these shows. Also, if you become a subscriber to ANN, does that help? As it would show where your billing information is located.

I'm afraid there are no legal ways around this, ANN only got the right to stream this for US/CAN since they got their shows (Correct me if I'm wrong) from the respective R1 distributors, but not the Japanese license holders.
Also, I think that a control via billing info could be abused too easily, but that's something only the staff can answer, I guess. |

Labbes is 100% correct at this time. Our contract (licenses) with Media Blasters only allows us to stream these anime to the USA and Canada. This is largely because Media Blasters' contracts with the licensors are only for those respective regions.
We are working on future licenses that will not be restricted to only USA + Canada. -t |

That has nothing to do with it at all. It's your location as to where you're connecting from. |
