*sigh* Double Arts...
Well, I hope his next series will be a hit.
Sweet Bleach cover, too.

Indeed. I just noticed OP 52 outsold Naruto 44 already...in a single week. Naruto was released one month ago..that's quite something.

I knew that One Piece's total sales are 3 times greater than that of Naruto, but seeing the actual weekly numbers is still pretty amazing.

that's amazing that 0.82% of the entire country's population bought one piece # 52...

Great to see D.Gray-Man is still selling well. I just hope that Katsura Hoshino will get better soon in order to be able to continue (and possibly finish) the manga.

Again, I'm thrilled to see Five up there, and the emergence of Double Arts is very cool. Hope it gets licensed.
Major, major congrats to Bleach and One Piece for their top spots.

wow, I didn't realize how fast we caught up in Claymore. No wonder the releases have been slowed down.

Wasn't Shaman King supposed to be finished?
Also, kudos to One Piece beating Naruto in sales!

Exactly what I would have expected from One Piece. Not only that, but Jump comics are in the top 4

Well, these rankings are for volumes. Naruto issues are released almost every week while Claymore's are released once a month. One volume of Claymore contains 6 chapters so in America and other countries you have to wait at least one semester to get to read the next volume.
Now, in my humble opinion, this new volume of Claymore (#15) is the best so far. I think chapters 79 and 84 are just unbeatable. So I hope it stays among the top mangas for at least for the next week.

Are these numbers (1) copies sold to stores or (2) bought by customers?

I just read chapter 23 of Double Arts and I have a question, if you don't mind. Is that truly the end of the series? I mean, forgive me but it really disappointed me. I was getting so attached to the series, but with the way it "ended" is, in my opinion, pretty strange. For a few things...
The bad guys' plan wasn't explained, nor were they fully introduced OR defeated. The Troy virus wasn't cured; Kiri's "powers," Fallan's reasons for not protecting others, and further details on the 11 Gazelles and their 'boss,' all weren't explained.
...So I really, really hope I'm mistaken and that isn't the end of the story, given how some of the narrative was phrased, I was given the impression that it could be picked up again. If not, then I'll be terribly sad.

It was definitely the end. Volume 3 has a one-page follow-up of the last scene, but that's it.
That's what happens when stories are forced to end prematurely
