I was looking at the borders website to see if they were selling the uncut dvds of Yu-gi-oh and Shaman King. The dvds are $14.99.
I found something interesting too. Instead of putting the uncut Yu-gi-oh dvds in the anime section, they're putting them in the children's section. They better have warning stickers or else parents might complain. The uncut Shaman king dvds are in the anime section though.

Don't forget the inclusion of guns and some swearing.

That's the same price as Best Buy. DDDVD has them for $14.39.

One of the scenes they deleted was a scene between Joey and yugi where Joey calls him his friend. Why did they delete that?

Also remember the fact this show is for guys; showing that scene will attract thousands of fangirls thus ruining the demographics.

What are you talking about? If you're saying that there was any shonen-ai ther, that's not true. That's just when joey called Yugi his friend.

Never mind. It's a pretty bad joke I failed to carry over from ShellBullet's response.

According to the images I've seen (in my replay anime magazine thing) of both titles' DVD covers, they have a stripe across the top saying "Original Uncut Edition"... much like the Geneon Signature series stripe.
I would venture the guess that whoever put the Yugioh DVDs in the kid section probably did so just because they saw the title, NOT that it was uncut. Plently of people just don't read little things like that.

That's true. Also in mangas, hardly anyone looks at the back to see the rating. That's why Del Rey puts big warning stickers on the covers of their mangas.
