Now that's an opportunity not to be missed. I hope those who are able to see this will be so kind as to tell us what the film's like.

We see young-looking pilots with Japanese names flying propeller-driven fighter planes over what appears to be the Baltic coast of Europe. Despite the WWII-looking military technology, there are modern-looking computer screens. It takes until about the middle of the film before we are told what anyone in that world would know about the situation. By the end of the film, there is still much that is mysterious, or at least unclear. And there is a final segment, about a minute or so, after the end credits.

The animation is in a modern style, with CGI-realistic backgrounds and flatter-looking characters.

Thank you.
I don't always like something which one has to rack one's brains over, but Oshii's works have thus far never fallen foul of my opinions through any lack of immediate clarity.
