It's a pretty straightforward question. Do you love the series or hate it? This can pertain to the manga as well. Please give detailed reason for your answer.

Hate Hina. Simply because of the same set of jokes being reused throughout the entire series. Actually the only harem series I like is Ranma 1/2 cause for starters Ranma's not a guy who blushes and freaks everytime he so much as sees cleavage. That plus he can actually fight. The show has a somewhat nice blend of action along with the comedy. But then after that it seems like all of these harem shows just have some wuss of a character who's saving grace is his kindness and the fact that he's shy is supposed to make him loveable. Love Hina in particular, first off it has a very annoying opening in my opinion. Secondly when Keitaro stumbles into a woman's chest or somehow stumbles upon the girls naked and then is kocked through 5 walls or into the sky, it can only be funny so many times. Got old after episode 3. Besides its one of those shows that feels like it never goes anywhere and only exists and has a fan base because of the fan service and the open endedness of "who's he gonna end up with". Sure Ranma is somewhat guilty of the open ended aspect but at least things were a little more clear. Almost every Love Hina ep. was self contained up until about the end. Nothing original, relies only on fanservice, and rehashes the same set of jokes throughout 26 episodes.

I loved Love Hina, no pun intended, I think it's a real gem in harem anime genre. Sure, maybe jokes do recycle, and it is episodic, but regardless of all that, it's something fun to sit down and watch. It's a show you can just sit and laugh at. That's why I love it.

Please don't tell me you played that horrible dating sim over at Newgrounds, that was just a parody and nothing like the actual series.

I agree with TranceLimit174, horrible series. For me, the series was garbage after I had watched five minutes of it.

What comical genius is writing this stuff? <---Heavy sarcasm.

In my opinion, don't, just because the parody game was great doesn't say anything about the series. It's a pretty bad series. Trust me.

I love the series. I watched it completely about 2 months ago and I absolutely loved it. I like the characters, the story, the action, and most of all the comedy. A lot of people do dislike it though, but I like it a lot.

Oh, come one. You both admit you haven't watched the series, how could you possibly know the game was any good? If you're going to watch Love Hina expecting all of the characters to be sex crazed and swearing like truckers you'll be sorely dissapointed.

And they do make games like that for the PS2, but only in Japan as there's no market for them in the US (and no, hentai games don't count). There's only one US release along those like that I can currently thing of, and that's that Tenbatsu Angel Rabbie anime and game coming from RJP Pro.

I Love Hina more than I hate it(Im talking about the manga). The jokes are constantly reused and most things throughout the manga's 14 volumes are the same. Even so I still love it because the art is really good. Also I like all of the female characters since they all have unique personalities. I hate Keitaro though since I think he is a dork and a perv all through the series. Even at the end when he acts less dorky I still hate him. There are many characters similar to him in many series but all of them are much cooler Exp. the guy from chobits, Tenchi, Ranma, and theres one more that I cant remember right now. Now the Anime is both bad and good. THe colors used in the anime make it look vivid and happy which is good. THe problem is that the characters look a bit more round. Naru, for example, is has a more rounded face in the anime which makes her look a bit fat( I dont got a problem with fat people its just naru looks weird when she's fat). My biggest problem is that the voice acting is HORRIBLE. I Mean HORRIBLE. Kitsune sounds like a hyper cowgirl which sounds stupid.

I seen Love Hina and it's pretty good. Good story and characters. I don't see why people hate it.
