Who do you trust with a license?
For me, from what I've seen. Synch-Point - Despite haven't not done a great amount. Geneon - From what I've seen, they've done extras and dubbing quite well. Bandai - Excusing low episode counts, I like the way they subtitle and a good many dubbing jobs are commendable. ADV - They do a lot of it and still manage to give you lot in a set, great translation notes, decent translation work (excusing work like Orphen). I have a grudge against Manga Entertainment for some of their pompous commentary on the Death and Rebirth movie and some really teeth gritting translation on the whole. FUNimation is also not in my confidence, but then I've seen little by them. |
