It's not just an anime-styled character. It's Wolfwood, in the exact same pose as a Trigun promotional image. They didn't try to hide their theft at all. The only thing they changed was the expression on Wolfwood's face, to make it more sinister.

Wow...that...wow...they're actually going to use that? That's not a joke? Are they paying Geneon royalties for using Wolfwood's image? Are they really sinking that low in their ad campaign?

Low?
Naw, low was the Bush = Hitler a few months back. The use here is probably a coincidence.

The ad is on their main (check the main entry)
I personally see it as a tacky edit and tacky in general (he was give big purple eyes O_O)
