The Vocaloid thing never caught wind with me (heck, I despise most U.S. auto-tuned songs), but Lia's cover wasn't bad. She's one of my favorite Japanese artists, and her song 鳥の詩 (Tori no uta or "bird's song") is possibly my favorite song used for an anime.

I'm in agreement with you on the autotune so I don't like vocaloid much either, but it seems like they are getting better since IA sounds significantly better than Miku IMO.

I thought the 'Meteo' cover was pretty good.

Based on the first sample from the IA vocaloid sampler, there's potential, though the next two samples turned me off to listening all the way through.
