Angel Beats! Singer Lia Covers Hatsune Miku's 'Meteo' Song

Lia, the singer best known for her Air and Angel Beats! theme songs, has covered Hatsune Miku's "Meteo" song. The Nico Nico Douga website is currently streaming a music video for Lia's cover of the song.

Lia is providing her voice as the basis for a Vocaloid character called IA. Her Vocaloid character announcement was revealed alongside Vocaloid3, the first major upgrade to YAMAHA's underlying vocal music synthesis software engine in four years. The "IA -Aria on the Planetes" Vocaloid3 library for Lia will be available on January 27. The official website for the IA Vocaloid3 character is streaming a sample track and a demo track video.
Lia has also sang theme songs for Clannad, Clannad After Story, Initial D: Fourth Stage, and Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino, among others.
