Love - who's also facing felony drug charges and disorderly conduct in a separate case - arrived two hours late at the New York Supreme Court yesterday to fight claims she struck fan Gregory Burgett at a Manhattan club on March 18. The alleged incident occurred just hours after her wacky performance on David Letterman's chat show, in which she repeatedly exposed her breasts to the stunned host. Love - the widow of Nirvana icon Kurt Cobain - was arrested after Burgett had three staples inserted into his injured head and decided to press charges. The case has been adjourned until June 28."

Courtney Love... I dont like her/him very much at all.
But maybe now she'll go to jail where she should have been in the first place. I also have a joke going with my friends that she was the inspiration for Miss Choke's on %#*@ from South Park.

I don't know if this topic pertains to Anime, but it is "threadworthy". Courtney and her band sucks IMO.
On the other hand both Rob Zombie and Glenn Danzig (formely of the misfits) are fans of Anime.

You know, i almost started to get into the Princess Ai manga when i was reading a chapter from the Tokyopop "Sneaks"... but then i remembered that Courtney Love had a hand in it. I also read that Princess Ai is supposed to be her alter ego. Well all i have to say is that even in manga form she still looks like a messed up crack addict and now i feel ashamed for even reading that one chapter. [Obviously not a Love fan]

"...Courtney Love faces an assault charge stemming from an altercation with another woman at the home of her ex-boyfriend in April....only two weeks after she pleaded guilty to a drug offense.
A judge last week issued an arrest warrant for Love on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, and the performer is expected to surrender to Los Angeles police sometime next week, said Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. She is accused of assaulting a woman with a bottle and a metal flashlight on April 25 at the Los Angeles residence of onetime manager and boyfriend Jim Barber, the same home where Love was arrested last October by police who found her breaking windows in the middle of the night. Robison said prosecutors plan to ask that Love's bail on the new charge, filed on June 2 in a criminal complaint, be set at $55,000. The charge carries a maximum sentence of four years in prison. Love's attorney could not immediately be reached for comment. Love, 39, pleaded guilty on March 25 to being under the influence of cocaine at the time of her Oct. 2 arrest and agreed to enter drug treatment. Under that plea deal, the former lead singer of the band Hole would be spared jail time and have the conviction removed from her record if she completes the treatment program. Still pending against Love are separate drug possession charges in Beverly Hills. She also has been charged with assault in connection with a New York City nightclub performance in which police said she threw a microphone stand into the audience, striking a man on the head.
