Anime Overload Festival 11.08.09 - SMX Convention Center

WHAT: Anime Overload Festival '09
WHERE: SMX Convention Center, Pasay City Philippines
WHEN: November 08, 2009 (10:00AM-8:00PM)
WHO: Anime Enthusiast, Volunteers and Contestants

Activities:
1. Interactive Video Games
Free Access on the latest online & console video games

2. Karaoke Contest
Singing competition of popular J-Pop (Japanese Pop Music) & J-Rock (Japanese Rock Music) songs

3. Battle of the Bands
Band performance competition of popular J-Pop & J-Rock songs

4. Cosplay Competition
A special costume competition wherein participants will come in costume & portray their favorite anime, cartoons or comics character

5. Anime Music Video Competition
A contest of making their own MTV-style music video of their favorite J-pop & J-Rock music

6. Maid’s Café
A place to dine, where in servers are in maid’s costume.

7. Sponsors & Exhibitors Space
There will be approximately 60 booths that will be occupied by our business partners who will be our co-presentors, sponsors and exhibitors where in they are allowed to do product/service presentation, sampling, outsourcing, marketing and selling.

We are now accepting CONTESTANTS & VOLUNTEERS.

2. Picture of yourself in costume
3. Picture of the anime/cartoon/comic character you portray.

VOLUNTEERS:

* Willing to work between 4:00AM-12:00 midnight.
Shifting Schedule:
4:00AM-12:00 noon
10:00AM-6:00 PM
4:00PM-12:00 mid night
* Willing to wear anime costume if required.
* Willing to cooperate and happily do the assignment.
* Willing to attend trainings and meetings if required.

*** Food and drinks will be provided.

The positions available are listed below. Please choose 2-3 positions,
but please note that the position you will choose may not be followed.

Marshalls
Line/crowd control
Entry/exit monitoring
Special assignments
