Hobbystar has now released the guests from the anime field for this year's Fan Expo in Toronto that runs on August 22-24, 2008.
We expect at least 45,000 to attend. Make sure you order tickets online at Ticketmaster or a Ticketmaster outlet to avoid the long lineups at their ticket booths. It may cost more to get advance tickets, but it's worth it. Once you get advance tickets, make sure to head towards the Advance ticket booth to get the Deluxe passes for the event. A Premium Pass can get you some special gifts plus its good for all Hobbystar events til Spring 2009. Now for this year's anime guests. Bleach fans will be excited about this list. - Derek Stephen Prince - Johnny Yong Bosch - Michelle Ruff - Stephanie Sheh (Also does Hinata as well as Orihime) - Vic Mignogna (by popular demand) - Richard Ian Cox (Inuyasha; Was at the Fan Expo in 2005) - Justin Ridge Derek, Johnny, Michelle and Stephanie were all at last year's Anime North, so this will be their second visit to Toronto but at the Fan Expo instead. Sadly, no guests from Japan are appearing at this year's event. If anyone attending has Pokemon Diamond or Pearl for the Nintendo DS, or the Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red or Leaf Green for GBA, please let me know. Wendee Lee & Steven Jay Blum were originally guests scheduled to this year's Fan Expo but had to cancel due to a conflict.
Do not worry, because by popular demand, Vic Mignogna will attend this year's Fan Expo. He attended the anime con last December and at Fan Expo 2006. Don't forget to come back next year, when the Fan Expo does it all over again on the weekend of August 28-30, 2009. |
