This is probably explained somewhere, but I have no idea where to search for it, so if someone could tell me or point me in the right direction, I'll be really grateful.
How exactly are the English ep titles determined? And also how are the dates determined (I assume they are air dates, at least for TV series)? For example, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster GX (TV): 2008-07-26 149. The Ultimate Face-Off, Part 1 2008-08-02 150. The Ultimate Face-Off, Part 2 2008-08-09 151. The Power Within, Part 1 2008-08-16 152. The Power Within, Part 2 2008-08-23 153. Return of the Supreme King, Part 1 2008-08-30 154. Return of the Supreme King, Part 2 2008-09-06 155. Return of the Supreme King, Part 3 In the past there were no dates and the titles were: 149. Wrath of Adrian, Part 1 150. Wrath of Adrian, Part 2 151. A Fight to Remember, Part 1 152. A Fight to Remember, Part 2 153. Into the Shadows, Part 1 154. Into the Shadows, Part 2 155. Into the Shadows, Part 3 So why were these titles changed? Were the old ones fan-made or something? And what are those dates? I used to think that they show the date the ep first premiered on TV, but I'm starting to wonder if that is really so... |
