Hello, this is my first post here and its from a hotel in Tokyo ^_^;
I'd like to ask some information from you guys, like some must see shops that sell anime merchandise and stuff, I've been to soome big toystore (Hakuhinkan Toy Park) here which was pretty cool, and I bought some stuff there, and Im planning to go to the Pokemon Center soon, but I dont know any other good shops around here, so I hope some of you guys know some stuff. Also any other anime related stuff for things to do in Tokyo are welcome Im in Tokyo till saturday, so I'll need a reply before that please ^_^;; Now all I can do is hope and thank the people that might help me in advance =P |

I've never been to japan, but from what hear from frinds who have is that Toys R Us is one of the best places to go, it's nothing like a traditional american/canadian TRU, they have a lot of stuff that we would have to import to get like Kaiyodo Gaogaigar, Takara Cool Girls, Bandai SIC figures... Ah, just to spend a day there...
... ... Uh, oh yeah, I hear another thing to check out are small shops like comic shops or game shops, from what I hear they have some outstanding discounts on older stuff that no one wants but people on the outside would be more than willing to import at top dollar. And I guess 7/11 stores are pretty well stocked as well, they actually get exclusives! All our 7/11's have are bootlegs. Hope you have fun and find everything you're looking for!! Emerje |
