Just a tidbit. The website is up with a few pictures of the characters. Interesting cast of characters with a robot? I wonder how this will turn out to be.

I'm curious as to what Kurosawa's surving family has to say about this, especially since the title of the website is "Akira Kurosawa's Samurai 7", and the characters have completely no similarities as their movie counterparts. If I am not mistaken, Toshiro Mifune's character (Kikuchiyo) is that big honking robot-like guy. What the heck? Shocked

I'll probably pass. But I'm tempted to take a look as a rubber-necker would passing a 5-car pile up.
