Japanese names are family name first, followed by given name. Therefore, when translating their names into English (not Romaji) it's necessary to switch them, making given name first, followed by family name ("Given FAMILY.") Otherwise, add a comma after the family name so it becomes "FAMILY, Given."

One of the most common mistake during translation is misplacing given and family names; there are numorous throughout the Encyclopedia. Character names can be easily corrected with error tags, but actors' and staffs' names can't be corrected so easily due to their multiple roles in different animes. This results some funny errors, such as Rin of Inuyasha is performed by BOTH 'Mamiko NOTO' AND 'Noto MAMIKO.' 'Noto' (能登) is her family name and 'Mamiko' (麻美子) is her given name (note: names with -ko (子) is almost certain to be a female given name.) When you say her name in Japanese you say "Noto Mamiko," but when you refer her name in English, either orally or in written form, it's "Mamiko Noto." The entry of 'Noto MAMIKO' in the Encyclopedia should be removed.

There are still many others (sigh.) I'll do my best to help to correct them.

Best to submit 1 error report, on any one of the roles where a particular actor is misscast and then mention that this person's proper name is .... and that they are the same person as.....

No need to add the proper name to the credits (in fact we'd prefer you didn't) as we can correct all the instances in with one operation.
