I'v seen the first episode of Evangelion on a robot anime marithon, but I can't find the rest of the series on any channel, movie place, or comic book store. Could somebody, anybody, please tell me what happens in the series, or tell me where to find it and at what price? Every little bit is apreciated!

1. you won't find all of Eva on T.V.
2. if you look in any store that sells dvds (i.e. Best Buy, Suncoast, FYE) you will find the series boxset
3. for info on the series you can look in the encyclopedia

I think the current going price at retailers is near $200. If you look on http://www.ebay.com you will find it. (amid countless bootlegs) When looking on eBay, make sure it is an 8 DVD set. If it's any less than 8 it's illegal bootleg.

The standard retail price for the Eva boxset is $120. Ebay is a poor choice for this series, as every store that carries more than just Inuyasha and yugi should have Eva. Borders and Sam Goody, are additional stores that carry it. Amazone carries it, as do all the sponsers in differant panels on this site.

As for a warning. CN edited those episodes it showed. the second of the two episodes shown is perhaps the worst editing ever done (poor Pen-Pen). The show is a gritty psychological analysis that uses mecha as a cover. The show is really about how people deal with existance and each other. I love Eva to death, but I know some who curse it. I think it is at the least worth watching for everyone into anime.

Huh. I didn't know the price dropped that much. (Then again, I don't look at Eva prices since I already have it.) eBay is worth a quick run-through, at least. I got my set for about $85. But if you'd rather not gamble, bid, whatever, I know Suncoast has it. (I've even seen it at Wal-Mart. Only 2 sets, but still there.)

Well if your lucky you could find single Volumes of Eva at Best Buy or the boxset (hey thats where I got mine) ,but they are tending to become more scarce after all it is an old show. Your more likley to find the Movies at a best Buy. Try www.bestbuy.com[ because they mostly have every thing and it cheeper then Suncoast. and even better when they have there free shipping deals

Try www.therightstuf.com . They always have great sales on everything sometime in the year, so if you wait you could get it uber cheap. There is also www.deepdiscountdvd.com you can get it there for very cheap.

Deep discount DVD and The Right Stuf don't sell bootlegs, only legit stuff.

EDIT: My bad, I didn't know the post was deleted.

Also if you have a Comcast/RCN or a Cablevision IO cablebox, you may also want to check out Anime on Demand. They have Evangelion as a listed show (actually they are on episode 26 right now so expect the show to restart either next month or the month after). It's $5 a month, but you can access so many series and movies...It is definately worth the money.
