Yes, I have seen it. Yes, I enjoyed it. Yes, I am dragging this out so it's not a stupid one-liner. If you've seen GITS before, chances are you'll enjoy this one.

The only problem I had with it was the change in animation style from the movie, but that can be expected I guess.

I havn't finished it yet, but so far (up to ep 20 or so) it's pretty good.

...and who ever thought the major would go off the wall with her calm and collective persona? Hell yes, I have seen (GITS)the whole thing and enjoyed it in all its futuristic conspiracies to say the least. Ep21 is my fav of the whole 26eps. IF you see it you will have an idea of how our heroine works. Good action, heavy story unpredictable outcomes!

Well, around whenever Adult Swim said they'd run it will be around the time the DVDs come out. Which...wasn't it July?

I think so, they mentioned releasing it and Wolf's Rain for the Convention season.

I didn't like the movie much at all but SAC is great. Heck, the opening alone kicks major butt.

I love those little (big) guys! I assume you have seen the 'Tachikoma Specials'?

These specials as the internet calls them, does anyone know if they ran after an episode or if they were completly separate?

I can't wait for the DVD. I'll be first in line.

52 episodes, really? I take it that they are making another 26? That's great!

I enjoyed the movie to some degree but I do not care for the depressing atmosphere in it. I have just recently started reading the manga and I must say that it is very different from the movie. All the comedy elements have been removed together with the main characters lesbian sexuality. Actually in the movie she comes off as a bit asexual was it not for her body.

Her personality has also had an overhaul to fit the depressing mood. From what I've seen of the TV show it won't have any of the comedy elements either, I’m not sure about the sexuality. Granted I’ve only read the first two volumes of the manga so I might be wrong.
