Is there any news on whether Yukiru Sugisaki will finish D.N.Angel. It is definitely a series that deserves an ending (in my opinion at least).

It was my understanding that the volumes were still coming out, but at a very slow pace. I haven't touched the series since volume nine (two or three years ago?), so I haven't exactly been keeping up with the news on that title. I'm not sure how many other series Sugisaki has going on (like CLAMP), but I know another in particular that I wanted to read past volume one: Lagoon Engine Einsatz.

I'm not really familiar with the series myself but I recall reading somewhere that there hasn't been anything new for quite some time now. It seems to be on indefinite hiatus in Japan.

IIRC, it is less of a hiatus and more the mangaka is working on so many projects at once that all the series are just moving really slow.

Oh, so it is still on hiatus? I thought it was done in Asuka and the only problem was that there wasn't enough chapters to fill a tankoubon. Hmm. If it is on hiatus, then...yay! I know Lagoon Engine 4 came out but I've only seen the Korean cover for it. Poor Yukiru....

Hmm I remember coming across google and there was the cover for book 11 but only in Japanese. I live in Indonesia and the series "stuck-ended" in book 10 since years ago. I agree that the manga of D.N. Angel totally deserve an ending. I think the manga is better than the anime as well. If Yukiru Sugisaki is still continuing the project I hope she'll make it faster. It's been 11 years since D.N. Angel was released.

^ I hope she continues it soon. Been looking forward to what happens past Riku reaching towards where she thinks Daisuke is on the boat in the tunnel of love for two years now. (So yes, volume 11.) *starts to imagine Riku's hand getting tired after all these years* Heheh...
I've been buying the books in Japanese/Mandarin, because I knew of D.N.Angel before it got picked up into English so I'm looking forward to finishing the series either in English or Japanese. All the characters deserve an ending.

Ah, crap. See, if I had known that D.N.Angel was going to be more than ten volumes, I wouldn't have picked it up. Actually, I wouldn't have picked it up at all knowing my tastes now. And here I have nine unwanted volumes on my shelf... should I get rid of them or keep them just in case?

^ If you don't want them according to your current taste of manga, give them away to someone you know who likes/be interested in D.N.Angel. Just don't throw them out or anything like that.

I know, I'm selling them! I could make a decent amount of money (to go buy some new manga) with how many vols. I could sell. Also, more shelf space for me.

in a way it good for the fans that she finally returns since i know how frustrating it can be(in my case it would be the same case with eiji otsuka/sho-u tajima's MPD psycho).
about the series itself:
i don't think it's a bad series at all since i'm buying them in dutch since glenat released 3 volumes last year, yet it isn't really something that fits in my style(i got a semi-neurotic habbit that i at least should buy 1 volume of a series that appears in dutch) yet it somewhow manage to entertain me.so the resumation of the series is nice but it didn't really effect me with collecting the series.

According to the February issue of Monthly Asuka, the magazine will carry D.N.Angel again from the April issue, which will be on sale on February 23rd.
