Well, I can't imagine much intelligent discussion here... a request like this sounds more like a "my collection of (whatever) is bigger than yours" competition and is not much more than a bragging thread.
Somehow I suspect this thread will be locked before it gets started. |

Is there a reason why you want to see our collections?

Aside from being a silly thread, I find it interesting how you ask for pics of anime collections, yet don't post your own.

look! This doesnt seem so silly to me. I have just seen a few other thread out there about this and people have some interesting collections. I just was wondering what some of your guys collections look like. I mean it shows how into the anime thing people are! I saw one guy with shelves and shelves of anime and posters everywhere!!
If this really needs to be locked fine! but I just wanted to see. I think its nice to see peoples collections for some reason. and about not showing mine, I only have a few dvds and nothing really to photograph yet. |

All things considering, you can always look at the "My Anime/Manga" section. You can get a distinction as to what people have been collecting. Its one of many reasons its there. And regardless of your situation, (IMHO) you still should've posted pictures of your collection. Don't make a request if you, yourself is not going to do it. |

Not exactly. I'm an absolute die-hard fan of anime, but my merchandise collection is far from impressive. The DVD collection itself barely fills up one drawer. |

Hmm, would all the posters on my walls, and my plushy collection count as part of my anime collection?

I would think so, I know if I'd include mine if I were to decide to photograph my collection. Anime paraphenalia should fall under the "Anime Collection" category

This is going nowhere, so I'm locking it...
Comment from Tempest: A thread with pictures of people's collections isn't exactly "intelligent" discussion, but we wouldn't have locked that. Unfortunately what we received was a thread full of people complaining about what they thought was a dumb post. I am going to say this one last time, leave the moderating to the moderators. This thread could have actually had some value (although the first post definitely could have been better). |
