Seems like many visual novels are constantly being remade over and over again. I wonder why that is.
I wonder if this retelling is going to have more craziness than the last one. I liked the first one wonder what this version will entail?

What are the chances Funimation might license this? Snow ball in heck or pigs flying?
Did Rumbling Hearts even turn a profit for them? A few issues with the subtitling aside, it was a great release and an awesome anime. I'd love to see them do more with it but. . . .

If this ever get released stateside, I can finally acquire Kiminozo in relief. I thought the series had a great concept, but the way it ended just pissed me off - probably because I was supporting the loser of the love triangle I just couldn't stand how Mizuki won out when she kept using her body to seduce helpless men - not just Takayuki, but also Takayuki's friend! I just can't stand that kind of behavior
Hopefully this will set things right and I'll pretend the original anime ending never happened.

I never really understood how people got angry at KGNE...it struck me as a "no fault" romantic drama, which is part of what made it interesting for me; there's no "justice" in the outcomes, which is how real life works. Just because one character is cute and faithful or whatever doesn't mean she "should" be the one who "wins". Even using that kind of language to describe romance annoys me.
Oh, well. I'm fairly interested in this new season. I hope they're be more good comic relief with Ayu and Mayu.

I have to agree with you on that. I can now die a happy man. I loved the drama and all that, and I understand what it was trying to get at, but in the end I'm just a sore loser. I'll watch this OVA with glee.

The way I saw it, she didn't "seduce helpless men." I thought she had originally liked Takayuki (even before setting him up with Akane) and then ended up helping him out of his depression. Takayuki's friend, on the other hand, had always liked her... and then pretty much took her without her consent.
Also, I would like to see Muv Luv animated as well.

From what I read, this is actually a new after-story for the Haruka ending rather than a retelling of the original (which would be both lengthy and redundant).
Basically, viewers will watch Takayuki and Haruka sort their lives out, whatever that entails.

No way, she deliberately slept with whatshisname to commit romantic suicide. She wanted to break up with Takayuki, but couldn't manage it, so she slept with that guy so she could say "I can't be with Takayuki anymore; I slept with another guy". Didn't she tell Takayuki she had slept with him before giving back her ring and walking out? I can't quite remember, actually.
I thought Akane Maniax was garbage, btw. After the merciless realism of (certain aspects of) KGNE, it has to come along and indulge in the absurd "bull-headed persistence will get you chicks" fantasy. Really annoyed me.
