The third collection was sorely missed this year, especially with Vertical's output being somewhat of a let-down. But as eager as I am to read more Tatsumi I'm really pumped about D&Q publishing Red Colored Elegy next year. Should be incredible.

I've been looking forward to this for awhile, and the only downside is waiting longer. Oh well, at least it's still happening.

More classics is always great.
Amazon actually already had it and Seiichi Hayashi's Red Colored Elegy listed. Good-Bye Red Colored Elegy Man, the new stuff in just the first half of 2008 is going to make the whole of 2007 look pathetic. Me and the Devil Blues, Black Jack, more Inoue material, Awabi, The Ice Wanderer, and The Quest for the Missing Girl (throwing in the last three just because Fanfare never gets their stuff out on time)... lot to look forward to. |

Vertical's Black Jack release and this news means that I will have a very happy 2008, manga-wise. Tatsumi's work is raw, primal, and absolutely brilliant.
Edit: Oh, and I'll buy Dororo, but I don't know what the hell is going on with those covers. |

Mike: They didn't take any of my suggestions to mention the game on the cover or include a forward from the Blade of the Immortal guy.
