I started collecting anime in late 2003 and missed out on the Cowboy Bebop box set. Instead, I bought the individual DVDs. I don't believe in double dipping (and the series really isn't the sliced bread most fans make it out to be), but I will still like to have the art box to house the individual discs. I know about Paul Champagne (and I unwittingly bought one of his art boxes...for Trigun), but he no longer sells a Cowboy Bebop art box (at least not an attractive one). And how do you order from his website anyway? If anyone knows where I can buy an empty art box for this series, sharing the knowledge will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure (more like 100% sure) that there is no artbox for Cowboy Bebop except the one included from the extremely rare Perfect Collection. I think the Perfect Collection was only limited to a small amount of copies (something like 5000 or maybe 10,000) as well. I just wish that Bandai would finally release a cheap collection for Bebop like they've done for pretty much every other title in their catalogue (I could care less if it's the original discs or the remix ones). Confused

I don't think the Perfect Collection had a typical "artbox" anyway -- I think it was some kind of brick or digipack. I think Bandai knows that the Bebop individual discs will sell at individual prices for quite a while, so they don't want to kill that sales potential with a $49.99 MSRP Anime Legends collection.

I remember seeing pics of the artbox and it was an artbox not a thinpack/brick set.

Thats the only official box released as far as I know, and it won't even fit your remix's... unless you take off those slip covers, I think the correct term if "O-Sleeve" but I'm not sure.

Bandai releasing a cheap box set on what could possibly be their most profitable license? After all these years I highly doubt it, but for your sake, I hope they prove me wrong.
