Ah, good. More Yuri is very good news indeed. I'd especially like to see what the new manga from Maburaho's artist is like. That series had a very nice style to it in my opinion.

Maybe some titles for Seven Seas to add to their Strawberry line if it succeeds.

Geez, they've hardly announced them before my brain is fantasizing about them being licensed and published in English.

Cool, more yuri is always good news. *thumbs up*

But yeah, it would great for Seven Seas to pick these up. It is funny though how we're thinking who might license them for us and we don't even know what they are going to be about yet. Besides the yuri, of course. I'm already thinking about them being adapted into anime so Media Blasters can pick them up. Very Happy

I myself would prefer Geneon, given their awesome release of Kannazuki no Miko. (Though I have yet to acquire the pencil board from volume 2. Mad )

Or ADV in regards to the one from Maburaho's artist. I've had zero exposure to HiMM in any format so far and can't really comment.

He is My Master? Ugh. I hope he's done something a little different this time.

Here's hoping the rest of these titles are engaging seinen yuri stories, rather than just blatant fanservice. Smile

Edited to add: I think it's cute how the three of us (Richard, Jedi, and of course me) responded first to this article. Heh. Mr. Green

Nifty that the HiMM dude is doing a new manga. Don't really have one opinion or another on the fact that it's yuri.

Don't forget Hayate X Blade! Surprised

I pray for this magazine to be successful and definitely hope Seven Seas check this out. Of course it all depends if their Strawberry line becomes successful. Are any of you still plan on buying those launch titles?

Tetragrammaton Labyrinth WAS a go until I found out the main characters have the names of my evil ex-girlfriend and my evil little sister... and then it just became unreadable. Shallow, I know, but true.

The Last Uniform looks adorable and of course I have to get in on the sinfully delicious series that is Strawberry Panic. Here's hoping the novels and manga cover ground the anime didn't ^^

Couldn't they be both? Wink

The red string of fate has entangled us all. Or my plot to brainwash everyone on ANN is finally coming to fruition. Twisted Evil

Despite my annoyance with their cancellation of Nymphet, I'm picking up ALL of their launch titles when they come out. My primary concern was with The Last Uniform but the preview on Seven Seas' site made it an instant Must Buy. It looks very sweet and I love sleep kisses. (Read the preview on this page and you'll know what I'm talking about.)

Actually planning on picking up quite a few of their upcoming releases, even one of their OELs: Neconoclasm Anime catgrin

Lol, I'd also prefer an "engaging seinen" along the lines of Kashimashi, but I can live with "blatant fanservice" or even both. Wink

@Richard: Laughing

But yes, it is quite cute that we three all happened to be the first to reply. Good to see ya, by the way, Nevvie. Smile

Yes, but let's not forget that unlike me, you're both BOYS. *smirk* I would prefer a story with my slice of fanservice, thank you very much. :- P

And it's always good to see you too Matty. Very Happy

Well, this is good news because it means yuri is catching on in Japan, and will no doubt tranfer over to anime ever more than it has been soon.

I hope some of these stories have more fanftastic plots to them. Just plain old school girl yuri is getting a bit stale imo.

Yes, good point. With Geneon it would be dubbed and perhaps we would get a release up to par with Kannazuki (although right now it seems that MB getting these if they were adapted into anime is more likely). Too bad about the KnM pencil board though. It really is quite nice.
