I like that iTunes is starting to offer anime, and I hope to see more of it up for download. My problem is that I much prefer subs (due to personal taste and interest in the Japanese language) and it's pretty clear from the research I've done that the iTunes offerings are dub-only. Otherwise I'd definitely go for Galaxy Railways and Gunslinger Girl to start with.
If you're a sub fan, would you pay, say, $1.00 extra per episode for either (a) a sub-only version, or (b) a version with both audio tracks and subtitles? I'm pretty sure I would, especially for (b). |
