Best Buy is going to have the new Highlander movie on sale for $12.99, it will also include a special comic (maybe it's a manga I am not sure). The best price online (this doesn't include the manga) is Deepdiscount for $12.06. If you wait until Tuesday to order it from Deepdiscount you can get it for nine and change after the 20% off coupon works.

Talking about this, it seems like there does exist an LE version of this movie (as seen in this interview: http://animeonline.com/index.php?page=news_featured&ent_id=102013)
I already have the regular coming in, but if the LE manifests itself somewhere, I'm probably gonna buy it... ... The Deepdiscount.com sale is still going on, after all *hint hint* But yes, I'd be surprised that more people aren't jumping on this thing given how CHEAP their charging for it... It's like they're giving the damn movie (and its multi-million dollar production budget) away |

It looks like the LE will probably be out later and will have both a Japanese and American Dub. As for that LE version including the comics, it might happen if Best buy has a similar deal.....Don't forget there can one be ONE store that sells the comic.

Don't count on it. I tried this when the Fullmetal Alchemist movie came out in the middle of one of their past sales, and it turned out the pre-release price on Deepdiscount was a special pre-order price and once the disc actually became available its price went up quite a bit. Of course, they weren't advertising it as a "special pre-order price". The new price with the 20% off was still much higher than the pre-order price had been. There's no way to know for sure what they will do with their price once the disc is officially released. |
