I just saw this movie. I never heard of it (*coughattnburiedtreasurecolumnistcough*) It's about a lamb whose mother is killed by a wolf, and avenge her death, he must become a wolf. Well, that's what the encyclopedia entry says. I'd call it a darker Bambi. It's very cute at first...then becomes something heavier. It was never licensed to my knowledge, but it's got a dub track, and a decent, albeit CHEESY AS ALL HELL lol. Chirin's "Rocky theme song" that plays when he's training to fight the wolf had me laughing when I probably shouldnt have been. But then it's from 78, so...
Anyway, Iike it said, it's pretty obscure, never liscensed, so if you want to see it, I'm sure you know how to go about it. Watch it, it will surprise you. Edit: It was licensed after all, and bought here under the title "Ringing Bell" Still, not much else is known. |
