But i dont know where else to ask,

I remember i was watching an anime around november/december of 2005 (fansub) however i seem to forget the name of this particular anime. I remember it involoved a story that had a teenage boy striving to be the best athlete in japan and also involved a romance plot with another teenage female athlete.

If anyone could help me out you will be my once and future king!.

You've been on this site since 2004 and you never saw the "Identifying Anime" sticky? That's what's irritating. But PantsGoblin is probably right about the title. And didn't you already ask the same question in this thread from August 2006?
