What's their stance on AI translation? I hope they're against it and paying translators and editors for their work, despite these titles "niche" status.

Taking a quick look, they have a decent library for having just launched, maybe 30 or 40 titles? Hard to say because it doesn’t look like there’s a “browse everything” option, nor a search function. And many of the titles are only visible when you turn on NSFW mode.

Some titles seem to have both a clean and NSFW version, with the latter only being available to subscribers, which is pretty much what you’d expect.

I see a lot of titles that have long had fansubs kicking around, since Crunchyroll and HIDIVE were never going to license something like “The Beast Beneath the Skirt” (retitled by OV as “Predator in a Skirt”). I wonder if fansubbers will stop seeding those torrents, now that there’s a nominally “official” license.

The only payment option is PayPal, and only then with monthly billing. I think they’d be wise to also offer an annual plan at a discount, for those who don’t want a monthly $13 pull from their PP.

Browser only, because obviously a mobile app version would not survive the Steve Jobs Memorial No Sex In Apps rule.

Honestly, as a first shot at being ecchi Crunchyroll? Not bad. Would be interested to see a comparison to Fakku’s streaming service, but I don’t subscribe to F!, so I’m not the person to ask.
